What is the difference between a normal and GPS mount?

What is an electrostatic (static cling) sticker?
It is a clear film that adheres to your windshield using static electricity. You stick the heavy-duty 3M tape onto this film instead of the glass, making the camera incredibly easy to remove without leaving sticky residue.
How do I remove 3M adhesive from my windshield?
Use a plastic pry tool or a piece of dental floss to gently slice through the foam tape behind the mount. Then, simply rub off the remaining residue with your thumb or an alcohol wipe.
Can I reuse 3M tape if I move to a new car?
No. 3M VHB tape is designed for a single permanent application. To move your camera safely, you must peel off the old tape and apply a fresh replacement adhesive sticker.
Why use 3M adhesive instead of suction cups?
